Engine & Drivetrain at a glance
Drivetrain work is where guessing gets expensive. A machine that will not pull could be a glazed belt, a worn primary, a slipping clutch or a gearbox that is already making metal, and three of those four look identical from the driver's seat. We diagnose it first and quote it second.
Top end and engine
Compression and leak-down, top ends, valves, and the honest call on whether a rebuild is worth it against what the machine is worth.
Clutches
Primary and secondary, weights, springs and sheave wear, set up for the tire size you are actually running.
Belts
Belt failures traced back to the cause. A new belt in a clutch that ate the last one is a temporary fix and we will say so.
Axles and CV joints
Axles, boots and joints. Torn boots fill with grit and water fast on flooded flatwoods trails, and a boot is a fraction of an axle.
Differentials and gearboxes
Front and rear diffs, all-wheel-drive actuators and gearcases, including sourcing hard-to-find parts.
Cooling
Radiators, fans and thermostats. Slow mud crawling gives a radiator no airflow, and packed mud gives it none at all.
